Joey Xavier Polino is an art director, designer and creative & conceptual strategist living and working in New York City. He currently works for Pinterest as a designer on the Creative Strategy team where he design on scaled projects and thought leadership pieces, while also leading 1:1 partnership workshops on Pinterest’s Creative Best Practices.
He has previous experience in the luxury fashion sector with Saks Fifth Avenue as the social media creative specialist, and at VaynerMedia designing for both the consumer packaged goods industry, as well as for major television networks. Joey also has a background in community management.
He graduated from Emerson College in May 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing Communications, and a minor (though, unofficial double major) in Art History, where he specialized in Post War Art.
He is an enthusiast of avocado toast, gin martinis, penny loafers, and Nancy Meyers kitchens, and believes that all houseplants should have an eccentric 1920’s name such as Cordelia or Maude (of which, he has both).
